BRIDGE SENIOR LIVING ADDS JULES JOHANSON-JONES AS NATIONAL DIRECTOR OF LIFE ENGAGEMENT AND MEMORY CARE

ORLANDO – April 22, 2024 – Bridge Senior Living today announced the appointment of Jules Johanson-Jones as national director of life engagement and memory care.

Johanson-Jones will oversee Bridge Senior Living’s signature Lilac Trace program, with a focus on providing support, inspiration and training for life enrichment, memory care and a psychological approach to dementia care. A member of  Bridge Senior Living’s support center team in Orlando, she will be based in St. Louis Metro-East area near three Missouri communities, The Grande at Chesterfield, The Grande at Creve Coeur and The Grande at Laumeier Park.

“I am honored to play such an influential role in the continued development of Bridge Senior Living’s Lilac Trace Memory Care and life engagement programs,” said Johanson-Jones. “Plus, it has significant meaning for me to be able to work so closely with our St. Louis Grande communities in my own home market.

Lilac Trace and memory care services are provided at 26 of Bridge Senior Living’s 34 communities. The Grande at Creve Coeur, located less than 15 miles from downtown St. Louis, is Bridge’s only stand-alone memory care community in its portfolio.

“Jules Johanson-Jones’ leadership will elevate our Lilac Trace initiatives by enhancing how Bridge Senior Living trains our team members in each of our communities providing memory care,” said Robert Goyette, COO of Bridge Senior Living. “Her resident-focused approach to care—through organic and evidence-based processes—are valuable assets to Bridge Senior Living’s growing team.”

Prior to joining Bridge Senior Living, Johanson-Jones earned 23 years of experience in the healthcare industry with a combined background in several aspects of senior care, including resident programming, memory care design, program development, operations, and business development, in roles including vice president of engagement, corporate/national director of engagement and dementia care, divisional director of resident programming and other senior operations roles. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and is also trained and certified through the Association Montessori Internationale.

Johanson-Jones is an alumna of John A Logan College in Carterville, Ill., and Southern Illinois University. She resides with family in the Metro East region near St. Louis.
