U.S. News & World Report Names FiveBridge Senior Living Communities

Among Best for 2024 in Five States and 10 Overall Categories

ORLANDO – April 16, 2024 – Bridge Senior Living today announced that five communities across its portfolio were recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a 2024-2025 Best of Senior Living community, including some across multiple lifestyle categories.

The trusted, data-backed ratings of the best senior living communities across the United States assist older adults and their loved ones in choosing the right community for them. These Bridge Senior Living communities earned nine “Best of” awards in two categories.

For its 2024 Best Senior Living ratings, U.S. News rated nearly 3,500 communities on several criteria, including resident and family members’ satisfaction with safety, care, community management and staff, value and other services and amenities provided by the community.

The Bridge Senior Living communities that received this honor include:

  • Bear Creek Assisted Living in West Windsor Township, N.J. (a third consecutive year winner) with two distinctions:  Best Assisted Living and Best Memory Care
  • Somerby Mobile in Mobile, Ala. (a third consecutive year winner) for two distinctions: Best Assisted Living and Best Memory Care
  • Somerby Peachtree City Senior Living in Peachtree City, Ga. (a second-year winner) for Best Memory Care
  • Somerby Santa Rosa Beach in Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. for Best Assisted Living (the community previously earned the U.S. News rating in 2022 for Best Assisted Living and Best Memory Care)
  • The Enclave of Scarborough in Scarborough, Maine (a third consecutive year winner) for two distinctions:  Best Assisted Living and Best Memory Care

Bridge Senior Living Chief Operating Officer Bob Goyette underscored the importance of this distinction for the Bridge Senior Living organization as well as the individual communities.

“Bravo to each of our Bridge Senior Living communities for earning their ‘Best of’ badges from U.S. News & World Report,” Goyette said. “We are proud to be recognized as an organization focused on exceeding the expectations of our residents and their families. This award reinforces our mission of inspiring and engaging our residents to live their best lives.”

U.S. News awards the designation of “Best Senior Living” only to those communities that satisfy U.S. News’ statistical assessment of performance on consumer satisfaction surveys administered in the previous two calendar years, reflecting the viewpoints of more than 400,000 residents and family members. Only the highest-rated communities in each care level earned a “Best” rating.

“Best Senior Living reflects U.S. News’ commitment to helping families navigate the important – albeit time-consuming – decision of researching and choosing a senior living community through trusted, data-backed community ratings,” said Sumita Singh, general manager of Health at U.S. News. “We are proud to recognize those communities that stand out as ‘Best’ by providing exceptional care and satisfaction, as directly expressed by residents and family members of residents who live and thrive in these communities.”
