Responsibilities:

  • Develop and conduct, intellectually stimulating activities for the community.
  • Add creativity to the daily calendar through; baking, cooking, crafts, clubs, and other events.
  • Assist with all special events, including holiday events.
  • Assist in gather and encouraging residents to attend events and activities.
  • Escort and transport residents to and from outings.
  • Encourage and support resident independence.
  • Establish and maintain good professional relationships with residents and family members.

  • Sensitivity to the needs and challenges facing older adults.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning of common areas and Resident rooms.
  • Cleaning of office spaces.
  • Launder of community linens, towels, sheets, and other items.
  • Maintain a healthy and attractive environment for residents and guests. 

Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to frequently kneel, bend, and reach.
  • High School Diploma/GED required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality care and direct assistance to residents.
  • Assistance with activities of daily living and other assigned tasks.
  • Ensuring and encouraging resident participation in community programs and events. 

Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience as an RA preferred but not required.
  • Experience working in assisted living or memory care facility preferred.

  • Experience working in a personal care, assisted living or memory care community preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Upkeep and maintenance of flower beds, planter boxes, and bushes.
  • Regular watering of flowers and plants.
  • Planting and upkeep of potted plants.  

Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of seasonal flowers and plants.
  • Knowledge of flower varieties, growing conditions, and watering techniques.
  • Previous experience as gardener or groundskeeper preferred.
  • Ability to bend, walk, and stand for periods of time.
  • Ability to work in summer conditions.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Provide health and wellness check with each resident on a regular basis.
  • Order and oversee resident’s medication schedules.
  • Assess and monitor resident health.
  • Assist the Resident Services Director in development and updates of individual service plans for each resident.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the resident, resident’s family and physician regarding the resident’s medical needs.

Qualifications:

  • Current LPN License required with no history of Disciplinary Action.
  • Enthusiastic about working with seniors and commitment to our philosophy of “Celebrate Life”.
  • Prior experience with older adults in a licensed personal care or assisted living community a plus.
  • Detail oriented and understand the importance of prompt response and follow-up and are committed to high quality senior care.
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to be on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventive maintenance.
  • Drive community vehicles.
  • Ensure community and grounds are in good repair and provide a safe and attractive environment for residents including carpet cleaning.
  • Respond promptly to all repair and maintenance requests.
  • Be part of on-call rotation.
  • Prepare rooms and apartments for resident move-ins.
  • Assist with resident move-ins and move outs.

Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic knowledge of;
    • Carpentry
    • Electrical
    • Plumbing
    • Painting
  • Appliance repair experience preferred.
  • Experience working in personal care, assisted living, or senior living environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Clean driving record required.
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk, for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities: 

  • Administer medications and treatments to residents to improve their quality of life.
  • Assist in monitoring the medication administration program.
  • Document medications and treatments in the community’s computerized medication administration system.
  • When not administering medications, assist residents with activities of daily living and encourage and enable residents to attend the community’s daily recreational activities. 

Qualifications:

  • Completion of the Commonwealth of PA’s Medication Technician Certification program and The Bridges’ “On-The-Job” training. This is a combination of online and face to face trainings provided by The Bridges.  This is offered at the community and team members are paid for all training hours.

  • Experience working in a personal care, assisted living or memory care community preferred but not required.
